Honesty House Assembly – “Mentors Beyond Bytes and Data”

On 5 August 2025, Chinmaya Vidyalaya, New Delhi, hosted the Honesty House Assembly with the theme “Mentors Beyond Bytes and Data: Honouring the Human Touch and Guidance.” The occasion brought together learners from Classes VI to IX to celebrate the irreplaceable role of mentors in shaping both character and intellect.

The morning opened with a calm and devotional prayer, followed by the day’s news headlines, setting an informed and focused tone. The centrepiece of the programme was a thought-provoking skit performed by the Honesty House students. Through heartfelt storytelling, it portrayed the bond between a Guru and a learner, underscoring the timeless values of gratitude, respect and empathy that extend far beyond academic instruction.

A key moment in the assembly was the Prize Distribution Ceremony, where the Principal, Ms Archana Soni, honoured students for their co-curricular achievements. Her words of encouragement inspired all present to pursue excellence with dedication and humility.

The event was more than a formal gathering; it was an opportunity for students to reflect on the importance of human connection in education and personal growth. In the process of preparing and presenting, they strengthened their skills in communication, performance and teamwork.

The assembly concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by the national anthem, leaving the audience with a renewed appreciation for the mentors who guide with wisdom, patience and care.
