Education Today accorded Chinmaya Vidyalaya, New Delhi rank 1 for Unique Classroom Engagement Initiatives in New Delhi, in the CBSE Category in the North India’s School Merit Awards 2023. It is the recognition of Vidyalaya’s unflagging commitment towards excellence.

Grandparents' Day Celebration
“Grandparents are a family's greatest treasure and the footsteps to the future generations.”
To honour and thank the beloved grandparents for their unconditional love, the learners of classes I-II and Pre- Primary Department of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, New Delhi celebrated Grandparents' Day – Grand Masti with Grandparents.
Our learners of classes I and II welcomed the grandparents with the auspicious tilak ceremony. This was followed by a myriad of joyful activities, music, dance and creative craft. Our munchkins were fascinated by the riveting stories told by the greatest storytellers, the grandparents. They lent a helping hand to their Nanis and Dadis while preparing finger-licking and healthy recipes as part of the non-fire cooking activity.
The learners in Pre- Primary Department enjoyed story time with their grandparents wherein they learnt the lessons about being kind and good. They also enjoyed dancing with their grandparents.

Gurudev’s vision, enshrined in the Chinmaya Vision Programme, is the foundation on which the Chinmaya Educational Institutions stand tall today, nourishing the global Chinmaya family and the society at large.

Chinmaya Vision Programme
Chinmaya Vidyalayas are ‘schools with a difference’ due to the Chinmaya Vision Programme (CVP); a comprehensive educational programme which integrates the best in our culture and philosophy in education, with the child as the focal point.
CVP is a vision inducing programme, aimed at giving students a true vision of life to help them face challenges in a positive and dynamic manner, and heartily contribute to society. CVP is not only value education, but also value based education, ensuring academic excellence is complemented by character moulding and personality development of students.
