Hanuman Jayanti Celebrations
Hanuman Jayanti was observed at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, New Delhi on Thursday, 2 April 2026 for students of Classes IV to XII. The celebration was held on the school stage and was guided by the respective class teachers.
The programme began with a short introduction that explained the significance of Hanuman Jayanti and drew attention to the qualities associated with Lord Hanuman. Students were introduced to values such as courage, humility, strength and devotion through this opening segment, which set the context for the observance.
The celebration continued with the chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa. The recitation was carried out in a calm and orderly atmosphere, and students participated with attention throughout. The classrooms and stage area remained focused as the chanting progressed, giving the gathering a devotional character.
Teachers remained involved during the programme and guided the students at each stage. Their presence helped ensure that the observance remained organised and meaningful for all those present.
At the close of the celebration, prasad was distributed among students and staff. The observance concluded after the students and teachers offered their prayers and received blessings in keeping with the occasion.
