Hanuman Jayanti Celebration

Students from Nursery to Class V at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, New Delhi observed Hanuman Jayanti on 2 April 2026 through a series of age-appropriate activities planned across the morning. Learners arrived dressed in maroon kurta pyjamas, adding a festive tone to the day.

The celebration began with a storytelling session on the life of Lord Hanuman. The narration introduced children to episodes associated with courage, devotion and service. Learners listened with interest and responded to questions during the interaction.

Following the story, students participated in art and craft activities related to the occasion. These included drawings and simple craft work inspired by Hanuman Jayanti. The activities allowed learners from different classes to engage at their own level.

Bhajans were also presented during the celebration, and students joined in the singing. The session continued in a calm setting as the children remained seated together.

Learners had also brought traditional sweets such as laddoos and barfi, which were shared within the classrooms. The celebration was observed across classes from Nursery to V, with activities adapted for different age groups.
