Friendly Football Match: White Team vs Yellow Team

Class V learners at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, New Delhi participated in a friendly football match between the White Team and the Yellow Team on 9 April 2026. The playground witnessed enthusiastic participation as students assembled in their respective team colours and prepared for the game.

The match began with the teams lining up for introductions. The Primary Headmistress addressed the players and encouraged them to play with confidence and fairness. A group photograph was taken before the kickoff, capturing the excitement among the participants.

Play opened at a steady pace, with both teams attempting early passes and moves. The White Team scored the first goal of the match. Soon after, the Yellow Team responded with an equaliser, bringing the score to 1–1 by the end of the first half.

In the second half, the White Team strengthened their coordination and created another scoring opportunity, which resulted in their second goal. The Yellow Team continued to press forward and attempted to level the score, but their efforts did not convert into a goal.

The match concluded with the White Team leading 2–1. Throughout the game, learners displayed teamwork, determination and respect for one another. The friendly match provided Class V students with an opportunity to participate in sport while supporting their teammates from the sidelines.
